Taste, Class, and Multidimensional Manifolds: A Comparative Study of Bourdieu's Social Field Theory and Suou Quantum Xiuzhen Field Theory (QXFT) Date: July 4, 2026 Abstract This paper compares a core theory of classical critical sociology — Pierre Bourdieu's Social Field Theory — with the Suou Quantum Xiuzhen Field Theory (Suou QXFT, 2026). Both attempt to deconstruct the dynamic mechanisms by which "taste" and "class" are generated within human society. Suou QXFT is an interpretive and generative framework that seeks to expand the dimensionality of social field analysis by drawing on the mathematical metaphors of quantum field theory together with classical Xiuzhen (cultivation) practice.
